Santa Sumo

A couple of weeks ago I went to a huge sumo event in Fukuoka in southern Japan.
It was pretty cool and inspired me to do this comic.
I think Santa would be a great sumo. He’s got the physique.

   Come to think of it, Santa just might make a good Sumo wrestler. He has to be pretty strong to lug around all those toys and crawl up and down chimneys. Wouldn't be surprised if he hits the Bowflex as often as the nog throughout the year.

   Love it! You should use this picture for some holiday merchandise. May be a bit late for 2009, but in 2010 how about a tree ornament? Holiday mug? Santa cap?
